The community is gearing up for the highly anticipated DaFest 25, a free festival celebrating fatherhood, set to return to Comber Parkway Pitches in June this year. DaFest 25 is Organised by Charity DadBodsNI, a group that fosters connections between dads via social media and weekly walks, where they share parenting tips, make friends, and enhance their physical and mental health.
“With activities designed to appeal to all ages, this year’s event will include live music from local musicians, sports challenges, food stalls, fire service demonstrations and plenty of opportunities for dads to shine,”
says Alan Tweedie, the festival’s main organiser. The Festival is Expected to Draw Bigger Crowds than Last Year, with a special Dad Appreciation Zone for children to create personalised messages for their fathers, live entertainment from local bands, and stalls from community groups such as Ulster Wildlife, Melted Parents, Glitter & Glow, and Dylan’s Starlight Trust.
