Festival Celebrating Fatherhood Returns with DaFest 25

Artistic representation for Festival Celebrating Fatherhood Returns with DaFest 25

The community is gearing up for the highly anticipated DaFest 25, a free festival celebrating fatherhood, set to return to Comber Parkway Pitches in June this year. DaFest 25 is Organised by Charity DadBodsNI, a group that fosters connections between dads via social media and weekly walks, where they share parenting tips, make friends, and enhance their physical and mental health.

โ€œWith activities designed to appeal to all ages, this yearโ€™s event will include live music from local musicians, sports challenges, food stalls, fire service demonstrations and plenty of opportunities for dads to shine,โ€

says Alan Tweedie, the festivalโ€™s main organiser. The Festival is Expected to Draw Bigger Crowds than Last Year, with a special Dad Appreciation Zone for children to create personalised messages for their fathers, live entertainment from local bands, and stalls from community groups such as Ulster Wildlife, Melted Parents, Glitter & Glow, and Dylanโ€™s Starlight Trust.
